Solberg’s combined personnel offer over 200 years of hands-on fire protection experience.
  • 1967: Solberg Scandinavian AS founded in Bergen, Norway to supply fire protection and firefighting products and solutions to customers in high-hazard high-risk markets throughout Scandinavia and Europe.
  • 1977: Addition of firefighting foam concentrates to product offering. Relocated business to a new production and test facility in Radøy County approximately 40 km north of Bergen, Norway.
  • 2002: Solberg UK subsidiary established to better serve customers in the United Kingdom.
  • 2007: Solberg Asia Pacific Pty Ltd (Sydney, Australia) established and acquires patents from 3M for an authentic fluorine-free firefighting foam concentrate – RE-HEALING FOAM™. The product revolutionizes the fire protection industry from both a firefighting and environmental perspective.
  • 2011: Amerex Corporation acquires Solberg. The acquisition strategically positions Amerex with a global footprint as a full-line manufacturer serving the fire protection and firefighting industry.
  • 2012: Solberg expands into the Americas with a new global headquarters, production and fire test facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
